The camp will be hosted at the Imperial College London, a world-leading public research institution (2nd in the World, Top in the UK and Europe) renowned for its excellence in science, engineering, medicine, and business. Founded in 1907 and located in South Kensington, the college sits in the heart of London’s vibrant cultural and academic district. Known for its rigorous academic programs and cutting-edge research, Imperial fosters an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mindset, addressing global challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Please note that while the camp is hosted at Imperial, it is a completely independent entity and Imperial has no involvement, sponsorship or part in organising the event.
Lead Instructor and Warden
Dr Faraz Janan will act as a lead instructor for the event. He is an Oxford-trained AI expert with over 20 years of experience in some of the top universities in the world. He has a PhD from Oxford University in AI and Biomedical Engineering. He has held academic roles at prestigious institutions such as Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin, and Lincoln, and is currently at Imperial College London, where he advances AI education and research. As Senior Tutor and Teaching Fellow in Bioengineering at Imperial, Dr Janan supports over 1,200 students and leads the Reinforcement Learning (AI) module. At Anglia Ruskin, he developed AI curricula and directed innovative research projects.
